Flea Market Rules and Application

 

     1.  Arrive on time.  Set up starts at 7:00 a.m. and must be completed by 8:00 a.m. No access to spaces

         by vehicles. Museum parking lot must be vacated of all vendor vehicles by 8:00 a.m.

     2.  Unload as quickly as possible.  Move your vehicle and then set up. Likewise, breakdown and pack

          up as much as possible before moving your vehicle in to the lot to load NO EARLIER THAN 2:00

          p.m. Vendors are expected to stay and sell for the full time.

     3. Payment in advance is required to hold your reserved space. Payment is required two weeks

         prior to the event each month. First come, first serve on spaces.

     4. Get along with your neighbors. Do not set up beyond your boundaries. Spot your neighbors for

         food or rest room breaks.  Do not block walking aisles with goods that impede traffic.

     5. Take all of your trash and unsold merchandise with you when you leave. Leave your space

         CLEAN.

     6.  No Food and/or Drinks may be sold and No Pets Allowed.

     7.  No smoking within 25 feet of any booth.

     8.  Insurance.  It is the responsibility of each vendor to supply and purchase their own insurance

          coverage.

 

Pleasant Valley Historical Society Museum Flea Market.  Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Set up between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.). Space Rental Fee is $25.00 for approximately a 10 x 10 foot space. Vendors provide their own tables and set up. Reservations may be made in person at the museum (Thursdays, 9-11 a.m. or Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4 p.m.) or by phone to the following numbers: 805- 386-3584, 805-484-6601, 805-482-5344 up to one month before the event.

Payment must be received by the Museum at least two weeks prior to the event. If not, your space will be reallocated to others.

Flea Market Dates: Third Saturdays of each month starting March 19 thru November 19, 2011.

Waiver of Liability and Indemnity: The vendor acknowledges and agrees that the Pleasant Valley Historical Society (hereafter cited as PVHS) is a non-profit organization and is undertaking the sponsorship of the vendor space for the benefit of the organization. Accordingly, the vendor agrees to assume, and indemnify the PVHS and the City of Camarillo and does hereby assume all risks, responsibilities and liabilities to losses, property damages or personal injuries resulting directly or indirectly from the installation, operation, maintenance, dismantling, and removal of all vendor materials and displays, and, therefore, the PVHS will have no responsibility.
